    Have you ever heard of the Patagonian Welsh?

    During the 19th century, the Biritish government attempted to suppress the Welsh language. To preserve it, some Welsh speakers emigrated and founded Welsh-speaking villages in Argentina. There descendents are still there to this day, and still speaking Welsh.
